Google Workspace users to receive voice prompts in Gmail and tabs in Docs soon

Google is about to roll out several new AI-driven features during its Cloud Next conference in Las Vegas, rewarding all loyal Google Workspace users. Soon, subscribers will be able to receive Gmail voice prompts, which means they can use the AI-based “Help me write” option while being “on the go.”

Moreover, Gmail for Workspace will allow the users to polish rough email drafts immediately. The new functions will be available only to paying users at first, and it is framed as being in line with the corporation’s policy of delivering high-utility AI solutions. According to Aparna Pappu from Google, the company plans to extend the same package to all users, contingent on AI usage and input.

Beyond the Sheets application, Google is implementing several improvements across the entire Workspace. Apart from the editable Sheets, users can create customizable notifications based on field edits to streamline requirements’ collaboration. Multiple templates within Sheets would help users create and document any spreadsheet with minimal ease. In addition to style features added on the “Future management sheet” and collaboration enhancements, users can shift to Google Docs and access tabs: helping users find a lot more in one document.

Some documents are more comfortable than ever to be consolidated within several sheets using this feature. The improved pre-made templates on Google Docs and full-bleed cover are shown. The chat application will continue to serve larger establishments. It may contain up to 500,000 members. Moreover, Google features chat and data integration Slack and Teams, respectively have collaborated with Mio to improve the chat app.

Google Workspace continues to evolve, integrating AI-driven features to enhance productivity and collaboration for its vast user base. With these latest updates, Google reaffirms its commitment to delivering innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of businesses and individuals alike.
