The team behind DeepScribe includes two key figures:

  • Akilesh Bapu: Co-founder and CEO. Akilesh graduated from the EECS program at UC Berkeley, where he focused on deep learning, natural language processing, and domain-specific summarization. He has previously worked at the Berkeley AI Research Lab and Apple.
  • Mathew Ko: Co-founder and COO. Matthew was a consultant in Ernst & Young's Data and Analytics practice before co-founding DeepScribe. He is an alumnus of the College of Engineering at UC Berkeley and also studied at the Walter A. Haas School of Business and The London School of Economics.
