In Brief

Meistrari, a Brazil-based startup, aims to simplify AI development by addressing prompt engineering challenges often overlooked in AI orchestration.

Founded in 2023 by Rodrigo Bobrow and Henrique Cunha, Meistrari focuses on automating prompt creation and output evaluation for language models like ChatGPT.

Their initial product, Perfect Profile, optimized LinkedIn profiles using AI but faced hurdles in prompt engineering, leading to the development of Meistrari's core platform.

Meistrari offers features such as crafting effective prompts, testing suites, and evaluators to assess output quality, without requiring programming skills.

Despite being in early stages, Meistrari attracted significant attention, securing a $4 million seed funding round and plans to expand its team and develop its technology further.

Brazil-based Meistrari aims to simplify AI development for companies grappling with prompt engineering, a challenge often overlooked in the AI orchestration process.

Rodrigo Bobrow and Henrique Cunha founded Meistrari in 2023 to address the complexity of AI orchestration, particularly in prompt engineering, after facing difficulties in building AI solutions themselves.

Their initial product, Perfect Profile, leveraged AI to optimize LinkedIn profiles for searchability, streamlining front-end and back-end development but encountering hurdles in AI orchestration.

Meistrari's core focus is on automating prompt creation and output evaluation, crucial for instructing language models like ChatGPT and ensuring quality results.

The platform, requiring no programming skills, offers features such as crafting effective prompts, comprehensive testing suites, and evaluators to assess output quality in various contexts.

For instance, Meistrari can evaluate a prompt's humor or writing style against specified criteria, providing actionable feedback for improvement.

Meistrari gained attention with its proof of concept, "Prompts Royale," attracting interest from industry leaders like Shopify's Tobi Lütke, who requested security features for Shopify's use, leading to significant GitHub engagement and investor interest.

Despite being in the early stages, Meistrari secured a $4 million seed funding round co-led by Monashees and Audacious Ventures, with participation from notable angel investors, signaling confidence in its mission to streamline AI development.

The company plans to allocate the new capital toward team expansion and further technology development, aiming to release a minimum viable product within the next two months.

Meistrari envisions becoming a comprehensive development environment for natural language, catering to the increasing integration of English in codebases and providing tools for seamless natural language development alongside traditional programming.
